Tuan Town Commissioners, General Correspondence: File of general correspondence, generally letters between the County Manager and the Town Clerk (M Whyte or Gerald O'Connor) relating to the administration of the Commissioners, in particular issues relating to housing schemes and the allocation of houses and rent arrears, and also to the proposed lease to the Tuam Livestock Mart Association of a portion of the Fairgreen (1960/03/19)
Also includes petition from tenants at Gilmartin Road to the County Manager protesting at the allocation of two houses '...to persons of the itinerant class, and we also strongly protest against your previous allocation of other houses in that locality to such persons' ( 1958-05-23).
