A letter from the Law Agent to the County Secretary stated that it would appear that the Cumman Rinnce '...has been out of existence and that rent was not paid for sometime', and advising that the '...present occupants of the premises are trespassers at worst and licensees at best. It would appear to me that they were under the impression that they had some claim when they went into the premises as it is possible that some form of licence was granted inadvertently by Tuam Town Commissioners to them' (04/09/1990); includes photocopy of signed and sealed 1970 lease.
