Manager or Assistant Manager to the Tuam Town Clerk and to the Department of Local Government, regarding the provision of social housing in Tuam, such as the Compulsory Purchase of sites at Bishop Street owned by Mary Hosty (30/10/1948), and letters relating to the number of houses required for slum clearance purposes and for relief of over-crowding, referring to various schemes, such as the Newtown-morris and Cloontooa Road schemes and financial arrangements to meet the building costs, also includes a list of applicants for houses (29/08/1950), details of an approved housing scheme for Tuam and cost of the various type houses, such as type H house was estimated to cost £1,250 to build, copy of printed tenancy agreement, and printed copy of Bye-laws made with respect to houses intended or used for occuptation by the working classing (1954).
