Scope and Content
Enclosing notes and a lament composed by Reachtaire (not included). He refers to Muintir Uí Cathaín, Uí Sheachnaisigh and Ó hOidin, and writes that Liam Mellows spent ten days at O'Shaughnessy's house when he was on the run after Easter week. He lists different events that indicate that Connacht was not asleep, as some people think, during that period, and writes that they had a fine time in Tourmakeady (county Mayo) with the Irish Volunteers in 1907, advising that Colm O'Gaora was in charge and Máirtin O'Briain was Captain. He concludes wishing Bairéad well with his book.
