The Plans set out policy statements for development issues, which affect the future development of the area and the welfare of its population. It also lists specific objectives, which GCC intends to implement within the period of a Plan. The Plans also outline development standards for new development in the area. The standards are intended to help guide the quality, nature and location of such development.
