RURAL FUNDING SCHEMES - CLÁR 2025 LAUNCH

The Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD, has launched the €11m CLÁR 2025 programme.
CLÁR is targeted funding for small infrastructural projects in rural areas experiencing depopulation. The projects must be in a CLÁR area and proposals based on locally identified priorities. The maximum grant is €65,000 at 90% of Eligible Costs.
The 2025 programme will be delivered through 3 separate Measures as follows:
- Measure 1: Developing Community Facilities & Amenities
- Measure 2: Mobility, Cancer Care, Community First Responder and Meals on Wheels Transport
- Measure 3:‘Our living Islands’
Measure 1 will support a variety of capital projects provided that they contribute to the enhancement of existing, and/or the development of new, accessible Community Recreation Facilities.
Fully completed forms for Measure 1 must be returned to Galway County Council by Midnight on Thursday 15th May 2025 via https://galwaycoco.submit.com.
