National Spring Clean 2025
National Spring Clean, organised by An Taisce, encourages cleanups of local areas. This year Galway County Council will again participate in the An Táisce National Spring Clean initiative by providing support to communities involved in cleanups.
Please note that cleanups are undertaken by volunteers at their own risk. Advice is available in relation to managing cleanups HERE .
1. All groups should register with An Taisce NSC at https://nationalspringclean.org/.
2. An Taisce will supply clean up material to each group.
3. Organisers of cleanups may dispose of the collected material themselves.
Support for a cleanup from Galway County Council
If a group requests support from Galway County Council for a cleanup they must apply before the cleanup through the Voluntary & Community Groups Schemes procedure, details of which are available below:
