Register of Electors Forms
If you wish to be added to the Register of Electors you can register online at https://www.checktheregister.ie/ Alternatively you can register using one of the forms below which should be completed and returned to the Local Authority.

Use this form to register to vote, complete your existing record or make any changes to your details including your nationality. ERF1 Electoral Registration Form
- Use this form if you do not have an address and you want to register to vote or update your information on the electoral register. ERF2 No Fixed Address Form
- Use this form if you have reasonable grounds to believe that an entry in the register about another person is inaccurate. TPC Third party request
- If the publication of your name and address would be prejudicial (harmful) to your personal safety or to that of a member of your household, you can apply to be an anonymous elector. Use this form to apply to be an anonymous elector. PV7 Anonymous Elector
Applications for Postal Vote
- You may use this form to apply for a postal vote if you have an illness or disability which prevents you from going to your polling station to vote on polling day. PV2 Illness or Disability Form
- You may use this form to apply for a postal vote if due to your work or your full-time study in the State, you cannot go to your polling station on polling day. PV4 Student or Work purposes
Special Voters
- If you live in a nursing home, hospital, or similar institution, and due to illness or disability you cannot go to your polling station to vote, you may apply to be added to the special voters list. SV1 Special Voters List
