WATER SERVICES
Uisce Éireann is responsible for the provision, operation and maintenance of water and waste water to homes and businesses in County Galway. While some Council staff continue their work in this area they now operate under the management and direction of Uisce Éireann in this regard.
The Council continues support to the group water scheme sector which allows communities to sustain themselves and manage their own water affairs into the future.

APPEALS/COMPLAINTS PROCESS FOR DECISIONS ON SERVICES
Complaints can be made in writing to the Admistrative Officer, Water Services Section.
If you feel that you have been unfairly treated or are not satisfied with our decision on your complaint, it is open to you to contact the Office of the Ombudsman. By law the Ombudsman can investigate complaints about any of our administrative actions or procedures as well as delays or inaction in your dealings with us. The Ombudsman provides an impartial, independent and free dispute resolution service.
