The Planning enforcement department deals with complaints from the public regarding unauthorised development e.g. a development which requires planning permission and does not have that permission or if works are not being carried out in accordance with permission granted. Complaints must be made in writing either by posting the Complaint form to the Planning Office or by using the online complaint form and must include as much information as possible e.g. description of unauthorised activity, location identified on a map, name and address of owner and/or occupier responsible. The complaint form should be signed by the complainant.
