From May to September the water quality at twenty three bathing areas in County Galway is sampled by the HSE. This monitoring is carried out to assess compliance with EU and National Regulations. Of the twenty three bathing areas monitored, twenty two complied with the EU mandatory water quality values in 2014. Please see below a list of bathing areas which will be monitored this year.
