Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, and Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development and Charities, Joe O’Brien TD, have announced the successful projects in Co. Galway under the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) General Fund 2024.

The funding will provide capital supports essential for the many small community groups and organisations, particularly those who serve disadvantaged areas in rural and urban areas. The funding is being administered by the Community Department in Galway County Council in co-operation with the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC).
Under the Department of Rural & Community Development’s (DRCD) Local Enhancement Programme 2024, €145,220.00 has been approved to support 99 projects in County Galway.

Galway under the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) Women's Fund 2024.Under the Department of Rural & Community Development’s (DRCD) Local Enhancement Programme 2024, €30,896.17 has been approved to support 21 projects in County Galway.
